Bringing cucumbers in?
Options
Cucumber newbie here:
My cucumber plant has been outside in a sunny sheltered spot and has just had a late surge of setting fruit. Now that the weather is turning and it's getting colder at night, I wondered if it was worth bringing into the back porch (light and warm if the sun's out) so the rest of the cucumbers can develop, or whether I'm unlikely to get much more from it at this time of year?

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Mine have slowed down to a halt now, and the fruits have not really grown much in the last few weeks. If yours is in the same situation, and you don't think the fruits will develop any further while outside, then you may as well try it!
However, I should also point out that I have found cucumbers to not like sudden changes in temperature.0 -
My outdoor ones have slowed to a total halt but as they're planted in soil borders I can't move them. If the leaves have already started yellowing they may already have gone too far to save but I always believe in experimenting with plants. If you could still use the cucumbers into the autumn, give it a try!0
