Yahoo sky data breach class action email

Has anyone had an email telling them that they are an identified recipient of a yahoo data breach class action that is taking place in the states against yahoo for data breaches 2012 to 2016? (yahoo identified me as historically breached last year, they emailed me to tell me). I have contacted sky tech team who aren’t aware of any class action or had a front line briefing. Email looks legit and the ‘lawyers’ website looks legit. I’ve emailed them to ask if it’s true and they’ve emailed me back to say it is and that I need to respond to the class action. I can’t find out any more info and my ex (also has a sky email account) has not had the class action email but set up his account the same time as me. I don’t know what to do.

How can you be a party to a US class action, aren't you in the UK?

Says US and Israelis only.0 -
Is this 'credit monitoring' requirement something which is common in the USA/Israel but virtually unknown over here? In any case $100 or a year free credit monitoring (whatever that means) is hardly worth the bother even if you know you have been hacked. Maybe a different arrangement without the credit monitoring thing will be announced for UK Yahoo subscribers.0

Thanks for your replies. Yep I managed to speak to the claims company today who said uk people don’t qualify. I’m stunned there’s no similar action being taken in the uk as we’ve been breached more than once and it’s not just little ole me who has a sky account in the uk.0
