Noise coming from a night club

Re: sticking with the Environmental Health route: what is there more to do after being ignored by the council? On the council's webpage, the only thing I can do is "report noise" or "complain to the council", both of which I did. I also wrote to the owners to resolve it amicably first.
Re: evidence: yes, I started the noise diary and also recorded the noise coming from the club after midnight a couple of times.
And yes, I read the licensing conditions and they are being blatantly infringed.
1) You have to keep doing it, you should be contacted by EH. If not, you contact them. You need to get an officer to visit, & for them to give you a diary to record the issues in.
If your not getting anywhere directly with EH, then contact your local councillor/s.
2) A written diary isn't evidence, nor is your own recording. Look at it from you having to sit in court & prove your evidence. How does the court know that you haven't stood outside at 11pm on a Friday & recorded noise by pointing your phone directly at the premises?
3) What licensing conditions? Venues have multiple licenses.
Are they having music outside of the hours in their entertainment license? If so, then there's your grounds for complaint, to the council.
I notice you've said nothing about whether your in a new build, or the 'agent of change' principle.
Are you in a new build/conversion? Was it done after the nightclub was already there?
When was it done?0 -

If all the OP has done is report it to the council a couple of times, (over what time frame?), & they've had no other complaints, then they'll have just logged it.
They don't have the resources to respond to everything they get.0 -
Thanks for the pointers. I haven't been contacted by EH nor see a way of contacting them. I guess I could contact the councillor for the particular ward, which I'll do.
Regarding to evidence, obviously it is possible to fabricate any evidence and it's the court job to weight the worthiness of a given piece of evidence. I understand you suggest it would be better to ask some independent party to collect some data?
The license for the place has the following conditions:
1. Noise limiters shall be in place on the sound system at a level set to the satisfaction of the Council and the local residents. -- somewhat obviously not satisfied, as if the level was satisfactory, I wouldn't complain
2. The unweighted equivalent noise level (leq) in the 63 HZ Octave band, measured using "fast" time constant, inside any living room of any noise sensitive premises, with the windows open or closed, over any five minute period with entertainment taking place, should show no increase as compared to the same measure, from the same location(s), and over a comparable period, with no entertainment taking place. -- didn't measure, as I don't have the equipment, however I suspect that if I can hear the music inside my house then the measurement would also increase
3. No sound emanating from regulated entertainment shall be audible a metre from the facade of any noise sensitive premises. -- again, I hear the music inside.
Regarding the "who was here first" question, the building itself is very old, but I personally started living here in 2018. The original license is from 2012, but the current owner holds the license from later in 2018.0
