Stop losses or limit orders on non-UK stocks

Options
Hi,

Are there any stockbrokers (ideally offering ISAs, but not mandatory) that offer stop losses or limit orders on shares that aren't UK-listed?

I've so far looked at iWeb, AJ Bell, Hargreaves Lansdown and Interactive Investor, and they all only do this on UK shares.

Thanks @Economic. I did have a brief look at IG but couldn't find any info on whether their "risk tools" (stop losses etc.) can be used with non-UK shares.

It's good to see that they mention limit orders on that link that you sent but it doesn't mention stop losses.

Does anyone know for sure with IG, or any other brokers? I might ring IG and ask.

When I was in a work share club over a decade ago we used stop losses however the results from them triggering were mostly unsatisfactory. Sometimes we missed the recovery, other times it was just a market dip with nothing wrong with our investment choices, etc. I wouldn't use them again and have more confidence holding funds than individual companies.

They do stops and trailing stops on their spreadbet service (which can be used to access US markets) but obviously a spreadbet does not involve you actually owning the underlying share and has different tax treatment.

I haven't actually used their brokerage service, only the spreadbet side. Calling or emailing them should clear it up.

I rang IG and they said that they do offer limit orders on all their foreign shares but not stop losses. They said it's not documented anywhere on their website so I can't verify this.

Anyone here have a share dealing account or shares ISA with IG who can confirm before I take the plunge?

I know I was asking for stop losses, but a limit order is still better that I can get with my current provider so I might give IG a try.

Unless anyone knows of another provider who definitely offers stop losses on foreign shares?
