  • Hello everyone, another fabulously warm day, just perfect.

I had planned on some gardening but the neighbours over at the bottom of the garden have a team of tree surgeons taking down a massive old tree so it is a bit noisy and a bit risky too. I loved the old trees but ours are staying. The garden will be lighter too - ours is south-facing but the bottom half is over shaded and now shouldn't be.

I have washed and dried a load of towels and there is a small clothes load drying nicely now.

Police called in earlier to pick up a load of trauma teddies, 30 this time, and we are expecting neighbours to be wondering what they came for and what was in the bags that were taken away!

Gers have a good little break, you will come back refreshed, I'm sure.

Everyone prepping for holidays, hope all goes well.

Lovely to hear from Holly, Nelski and newroadahead

    Taff, thinking of you.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Made it! :j sun is blazing down and I've been in the back garden already. Some plants were so overgrown so I've been cutting huge amounts back. The house is clean and tidy though it really needs airing so I've got back and front doors open. How come flies can manage to get in but not out??

DM has texted to say she's fine, heated up her fish and chips and remembered to turn the oven off. I was worried about it.

There were three pieces of important mail dating from July / August so I'm going to complain to Royal Mail on Monday as I've paid for re-direction.

Thanks for all your good wishes, I send some back out to everyone tenfold.
