Scotland, house move to different district while on Universal Credit

Currently I am having great difficulty within my locale. Ive been in my current property in Edinburgh for 4.5 years and really need to move. Its having a really bad toll on me mentally and work opportunities are not there. I really feel that moving to a completely new location is my only option. Currently I am on Universal Credit which leaves me in a precarious situation. I have found that Shelter and the Bureau Advice give out dubious advice at best. I need to make sure that I will have entitlement if I move in the case I can't find a job immediately. Next year I would like to go back to University as a postgrad, so this year could be used valuably if I get peace to prepare. Can anyone point me to detailed advice on your rights on moving to a new city in Scotland while on Universal Credit. Many thanks
