Live data used for credit check?

Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a car on PCP but am wondering when a credit check is made do the people making the check get data back that is live and up to date?
I ask because I had a large balance on an account which was paid in full towards the end of last month but is still showing on my report as the payment was made after the latest one I can view was generated.
Thanks in advance.

Yes they see a live view.
But it's dependant on when the lender also updates the CRA's as to when the balance is updated0 -
Thanks for your help. A very good point with the lender reporting it to the CRAs, I hadn't thought of that!
I've now checked on all 3 CRAs.
One has updated, one says a change regarding the closed account is due on my next report and one hasn't changed so I'm confident the lender has informed them all at the same time.
Thanks again:idea: LBM 8th August 2014 £21,200 | 0 | Debt Free Date - 23rd August 20190
