Unexpected Compensation from Halifax!?

Today I received the below letter from Halifax, stating that after a review of my account, they believe they have not acted fairly in managing my finances during 2013.
During late 2012 and early 2013 I had a number of issues with Halifax around the three accounts (2 bank accounts & 1 credit card) I held with them. There were numerous mistakes made on the banks behalf which resulted in me going massively overdrawn and incurring hundreds, if not thousands in bank charges. At the time this meant that one of my accounts, which was only a couple of pound overdrawn ended up £1,300+ overdrawn, landing me with a default on my credit file, which prevented me from obtaining a mortgage until earlier this year, as well as increasing my cost to borrow from other lenders (car, etc.)
At the time the bank partially refunded some money, but refused to remove the default from my credit file. Today I have received a cheque for £413.56 in owed interest and compensation after a review into my account (see below.)
TLDR - Bank has reviewed my credit card account from 7 years ago and refunded interest / charges without ,me prompting them.
My questions are;
Has anyone else received one of these letters from Lloyds Banking Group / Halifax?
What has prompted this review?
Should I inform them of my other accounts I had with them to see if money is owed there?
Am I owed more? Are they fobbing me off now before the 'next big scandal' roles around with other claim management firms?
Thanks,
Scott

You're not owed more and there's no off-fobbery. It's a defined calculation under TCF.
They'll review any other accounts as a matter of course.
The tax is only paid on the statutory interest, as you would on any other interest income.0 -
