Number plate issue

I suppose SU51LUV might appeal to someone called Susan Love (probably to go on a Fiat 500 with eyelashes).
That's sort of an ongoing debate with plates anyway - if it isn't obvious at first glance - what's the point? I might notice that the age of plate doesn't match the car and assume it was a vanity plate but unless it's an amusing pun - or clearly related to the car model - so what?
In the case I referred to above - the vanity plate was an 83/84 plate on a 94/95 car but as it was A2 and a three letter combination which spells a female given name, I can see why that might appeal.I need to think of something new here...0
