How to remove a silver mark from bath

I scratched the top of our enamelled bath with my silver metal watch strap. It does not feel ridged so don't think I have scratched deeply if at all. Any ideas what I can use to remove these dark marks. Wife is giving me gip over it.
Many thanks.

I believe there's a special rubber that tradesmen use to remove those sort of marks. I don't know the name of it, but one was used on a similar mark on the rim of my toilet bowl. Perhaps if you ask in a plumber's merchants they may be able to help.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

    A bath rubber !

A lint free cloth and a bit of toothpaste might also work

I had rust marks on a plastic shower tray and they came off with a 'magic sponge' from Poundland.
  • Thanks for the suggestions guys. The toothpaste has helped a little but the marks are still quite visible. Will try to get hold of one of those sponge rubbers I think but I'm in Spain and not sure how available they are here?

Any kind of metal polish will bring it off. Or T Cut.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
