If the loan really is 0% for 12 months and no payments of any sort are required within that period, then in your place I wouldn't choose to make any at this point.
However, if you want to repay now and loose the benefit of the 12 month interest free loan, I don't believe that a lender can legally refuse to accept repayment of the loan.
Does the credit agreement not give any information about how to make payments?
How will payments be made once the 12 months are up. Have you given them your bank details and authorised a direct debit or ?
It is possible that they may write to you shortly before the expiry of the interest free period advising you of the situation and telling you how to make your payment.
It almost defies blief that the customer services department of a loan company can't accept payments by telephone and can't tell you how to make payments. They MUST know!
  • Say who are the company as I am sure someone will be able to find out the details, or has had dealings with them in the past.

If it were me, I would make the request in writing, as per clause 4.1.

    Start a paper trail.

Keep the money aside, preferably in an account that pays you interest, ready for when they provide you with their details.

    :)

I agree with Willing2learn, boring yes but make and keep a papertrail (electronically saved pdf files included in this) and keep in a tidy cronological order. This helps strengthen your position as you have what was agreed in written down format and helps you find and present your arguement in a reduced stress and timely fashion.
May you find your sister soon Helli.
    Sleep well.
