I do switch money from my current account to other accounts with two other banks quite a bit - they're savings accounts in my name, but with another bank,

well if this thread is true then me with my basic barclays account would make them no money lol,

it doesnt have ability to overdraft or occour any fees as i see it.

in fact i asked them about moving to the blue rewards and maybe a small overdraft (to build credit, even though my balance has hovered around the 2k mark for aeound 5 months now) and they said no because my incomings are benefits not wage based!

No. I pay for most things I buy on a credit card, and then transfer the money for my shopping to a savings account until the credit card is due to be paid (both to earn a bit of interest, and to stop me spending it on anything else!!). I then shift it back to cover the direct debit when the credit card bill is due.

I also have an internet only savings account that can only have one "nominated account", so everything I pay into or take out of my online savings has to go through my current account. This is why the money from my ex went in and out of my Halifax account, and then the deposit for my house did the same the other way when I bought my house.

This usually happens with suspected money laundering.
Again (as always) whole story not being told here.

OK. Then raise a complaint. You will either get an appology and your accounts back. Or a visit from your local Police force.
Either way the truth will out.
