Hi , I received a housing benefit compliance meeting letter a week ago I work part time , but they said they have had a top off IV been doing hair and make up on the side , I have done friends and family and I have been paid £10 off a friend's friend to do there make up basically lo g story short scared because the letter I received a week ago but they where told In June/July I'm scared they have been watching me and will think my ex lives with me as he's been here a lot with our son who was sexually asulted on school 10 months ago and he's begged for his dad to stay here and there and IV aloud it as he was suffering and his dad made him happy what do I do

If your son is struggling with what happened you need to book in to see the GP and ask for appropriate help.

Agree just be honest. Panicking and lying is likely to end in you tripping yourself up.

There is no evidence that any benefits agency believes that your son's father lives with you. There is nothing wrong with working together to be good parents for the sake of your son. Not all former couples dislike one another or avoid being around one another.

There are a host of things that can be used as evidence by either 'side' that you are or are not living together. What is being posted on social media accounts, what friends and family believe, where your ex's personal and everyday property is kept, whether your ex takes your son out or to his home as well as visiting your home, whether you are doing 'couples' things together and much more.
