Insuring house-part time living

Looking for some advice on insuring a house we’re in the process of buying but when the sale has completed, will only be ‘living’ in for a few days a month for up to 6 months until we make the move more permanent.
We will have basic furniture in the house, sofa, tv, bed & cooking essentials, just enough to manage for an overnight/2 night stay once or twice a month.
Do we need to get a specific type of insurance or will standard house insurance suffice?
Many thanks.

You need also to check the council tax as some councils charge double for second homes.0
