Bulb introduction deals

Enquiring on behalf of a friend splitting with their partner and moving to an electric only flat with E7 metering in a month or so.
Current occupier is paying £30pcm to BG and comparision sites say Bulb should be about £6 pcm less so looks favourable for my friend.
I know they take DD up front and this is OK
Not sure if this is allowed by site rules but are there any introduction codes that would benefit me and whoever gives a code for Bulb.
Thanks

The best advice I can give is for your friend to consult a comparison site to find the best deal for them.
Perhaps you could print off and show them the MSE article about this
MSE Martin also says do not base any decision on possible cashback as that is only guaranteed once it lands in your bank account.
Furthermore, MSE Martin said last night on his live TV show that people should be considering a fixed tariff now, as although varaible tariffs are cheaper today (esp with the forthcoming Ofgem cap) energy prices are now starting to head upwards ... and the Ofgem cap will only valid for about 6 months. (before they introduce another one, but that will be higher in all likelihood)
The Bulb tariff is varaible.0 -

I would take that figure with a huge pinch of salt - sounds extremely low.
Ask them for a years actual consumption - and then use a comparison - and don't get misled by a bribe.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
