Delayed transaction

Hey I seem to get delayed transactions
I made a payment to Microsoft yesterday and in my mobile banking it is showing as today. Instead?
Is this because of the delay with the pending transactions? Thanks

I use Barclays and have noticed after a certain point in the evening they date transactions for the following day. If I transfer money to my other bank account it usually arrives on the day I initiated the transfer and that bank dates it "correctly". For example if sending from Barclays to Tesco at 21:00hrs on 18th. Barclays date it as 19th but Tesco receive and date it as 18th.0
