Hi, so I was declined a contract phone but got given a 1 month rolling sim only deal for £6 a month, I am wondering if it will help build my credit history?
Thank you,
Sian

If they report to a CRA, then yes, to a small extent.0

Some operators, such as Giffgaff for example, refer to their product as a 'sim only deal' when really it's just a prepaid bundle. These won't be reported on your credit file because they are not actually a credit account, just a PAYG service.0

The sim only plan is with Virgin, 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 300 mb of data, it's not much but I'm only using it to build my credit history, it is paid via direct debit so will it show on my credit file?
Thanks,
Sian0 -
