First Time Planning

In the past, the wife has always booked our holidays, because, she says, it's easier. I want to plan a short break to Benidorm in January, without breaking the bank. Am I best looking for a package, or find the hotel, then find a flight, and transfer. The wife's regularly used Travel Republic, and we've had no disappointments so far. We've been to Benidorm on numerous occassions, and stayed in the new town. This time, we'd like to stay in the old town.

Without breaking the bank, and being near the old town, have a look at La Era Park hotel. 2 minutes from old town and very good prices. It is only a 2* place, but we found it clean and enjoyed our stay there.
Jet2 do it, don't know about other agents, or booking direct.

Just had a quick look on Jet2 website.
Random date - Sat. 18th Jan, 5 nights 2 people from Manchester is £402.
If you do want to book Jet2, let me know if you want a code for£60 discount, I have a spare voucher.

When in Jan, unless it's right at the start ie over new year/school hols it's likely to be dirt cheap then, packages offpeak are often cheaper than DIY. But check both.
