Sky Friends and Family Code - Problems

Hi,
I have a F&F code but I cannot find anywhere to use it during the online order process.
I went on live chat to ask where to input the code and they informed me that they have to activate the code and send you a link to proceed with the order.
Trouble is, when you put the order through, the price isn't much different to what it would have been before the code.
When I asked, the person said the code is only effective on the TV package not the internet - final bill all in is £78...
I was told by this would be £38.20 all in for TV & Internet.
Anyone else have any trouble or know why this is?
