I am talking about building regulatory approval and politely i will disagree we cant claim every room in a house as a bedroom. There is a reason building regulations are made to meet certain safety requirement.societys_child wrote: »But it isn't a bed in a shed is it.
You can put a bed in the living room, the lounge, just about any room that's big enough accept a bed (or beds), or even a smaller bunk-bed or cabin-bed. Which regulatory approvals are you referring to?0 -
Whether or not a room is suitable for use as a bedroom isn't going to be determined by the presence or absence of a bit of paper from 30 years ago. If a conversion is that old, you deal with it on its merits and figure out for yourself whether you're happy with insulation, ceiling height, fire safety etc.0

Ok.
So absolutely no reason to believe the person you spoke to on the phone was the owner of the house you bought.
You have literally nothing to be upset about. Just enjoy your new home.0
