Toothpaste for diabetic dog

Hi, my dog is diabetic and the vet has suggested I brush his teeth with a sugar free toothpaste.
After looking online I'm very confused as to which ones are sugar free. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Hi!
I would suggest using just water with a brush. The paste only facilitates brushing by making the animals more compliant. However, it is the mechanical action of brushing which breaks up bacterial chains and reduces the build up of plaque.
Hope this helps.0
