Can CMC debt be added to an IVA?

Hi all
I owe a sum to a claims management company from a ppi payout. Can I include this in an IVA as they are technically not a creditor?

I always assumed the CMC would take their fee first and just pay you the net amount of the claim.....but could be wrong....

Once the CMC has bought the stamp and posted your complaint for you, they gave no further involvement until it's time for you to pay them.

They don't see the money until you hand it over.

Hi,


Debts that you cannot include in an IVA are :

• Mortgages and secured loans
• Hire purchase agreements
• Court fines
• TV Licence arrears
• Student loans
• Child support arrears
• Social fund loans

Any other debt is known as a "qualifying debt" and can be included in an Individual Voluntery Arrangement.
