    What is a 'holding thread'?

Why are you posting this stuff if it is not to solicit comments?

Would a blank piece of paper on your dining room table be just as effective for keeping notes?

This is written from the named driver viewpoint. It's a holding thread and no need to comment.

Britannia reply to a SAR has turned up asking for £10. It's a template letter that says:

    1. I cannot ask for the Landowner agreement (I didn't ask)
    2. The contract is the sign at the car park which will be supplied at court. (I didn't ask for the sign)
    3. I can have machine reports as long as it relates to my (as driver) transactions. We'll I've asked for the 4 pics related to the two trips to the car park and they appear not to have them. It's a double dip
    4. Picture packs will be provided at court. This appears to conflict with #3 above as it is a combination of #2 and #3

Now as I am only asking for personal information, I should not need to pay the £10. If the continue to ask, it will be off to the ICO. I have also pointed out that if they do not provide the 4 pics for a double dip (machine reports from #3), it will be off to the ICO. The Keeper has asked for the 4 pics from the double dip and if not supplied, the Keeper is off to the ICO. And if they cancel, it won't stop the request going to the ICO for the 4 pics as it is my/keepers data and they shouldn't be so careless.

Looking forward to the ICO giving some sort of clarification on at what point the personal data of the Keeper (the pics) becomes the personal data of the named driver. A ruling on this also may have adverse effects on those not willing to reveal the name of the driver.
Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

The law is like an ocean - have a swim but don't drown.
  • Have you yet done the obvious thing, as already advised, and taken this back to Waitrose? Why are you making work for yourself?
  • Just updating my account as the other one got lost in the change. Report coming later ... in about 4 months.
