Can you do the blood test at your GP or a more local centre? Ask the hospital you go to, there may be alternatives to going there for the blood tests.

Are you sure?
Tthey will not know who to return it to and I I was led to beleive that if there is no referral on the system, the UC50 just gets destroyed.

It looks like UC it is then, as regards taxi and going to doctor, I have to get a taxi there to. The tests at the hospital are down to one a week at the minute so that helps. I will try to get advice from CAB or similar organisation and thank everybody for their advice.
