Viewings after previous sale fell through

My husband and I were in the process of buying a house but shortly before exchange the sellers decided not to proceed with their purchase and eventually decided to stay put. Is any of this something you would reveal when doing new viewings?
I want to make sure we sound like serious buyers and as long as we find something we want we are keen to proceed quickly (though we aren't desperate an we won't buy something that's not right for us or not at a right price). I was thinking that it may be helpful in fending off EAs trying to push their solicitors/brokers as we could say we're already sorted.
But on the other hand does that sound suspicious as if we have some fault in the sale falling through?

No need to mention it if you don't want to. some people may like that news as makes you look more serious and ready to go, some others wont. Just do what you feel comfortable withAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Mentioning it could make you sound "desperate/keen to be squeezed for that additional few £££".
They don't need to know your history. You're a buyer.0 -

I really don't see the relevance

So say that then. Do you have buyers in place or are you FTBs or in rental?

Why can't you just say "we're already sorted" ?

I believe you are over thinking this.0 -
Nope no need to reveal. When buyers offer on my house I just want to know their current position not their house sale life history.
If it came up in conversation then no issue their either.
One in three house sales fall through so actually the chances are quite high of someone offering on a house being in your exact position with a previous sale falling through.0 -
Don't overthink
Very common for sales to fall through
Just answer appropriately at the time. FTB all ready to go is a good position even if its your second attempt.
Good luck0 -
Thank you all, you're probably right and I am over thinking it!0
