    Morning all

Camelot I am so pleased for you all I love the name Sophie, is your dd doing ok ? huge congratulations to you all xx

Its a lovely bright day here I have my work clothes in the wm and a towel load to go in after, they can go out on the line today.

I went to put my jeans on last night to go out and they were massive on me which pleased me no end, I have to go out today to buy toiletries and a tiny bit of food so I will try some jeans on and see what size I am.

I had a lovely evening with my two work mates last night we put the world to rights and drank far too much wine but the slight headache I have is very worth it.

Need to have a clean through this morning and work out what if any food we need from the shop.

    Have good days all xx

Good morning everyone and a special welcome to baby Sophie :hello:

It's a beautiful sunny morning here and today is the local carnival so I am happy that it is forecast to be dry. Phoebe is less thrilled as she is working and it will be horrendously busy in the restaurant. Lilly has gone out to help her friend and Lee is having a nice quiet morning relaxing after completing his first full week of college.

Steve is about to bath the dogs as they are very pongy and we have put their bedding in the washing machine. Steve also washed all his jackets ready for the colder weather so he is all prepared.

I weighed this morning and have lost another 3lb so I am very happy about that. I have a plan to lose 5 stone initially, and then we will look into getting a car. I am giving myself a year to really focus on losing weight and regaining some mobility. Steve said he wants to lose a few stone too so is fully supportive.

We have shopping coming between 1 and 2 which we will put away and then sort out the dining room as it is taken over with my lego and assorted crud. I also need to clear my desk off of cookery books.

redruby, well done on dropping through the dress sizes. Hope you find some lovely jeans that fit you and show off your new figure xx
Cranky, you made me laugh talking about your house troll eating breakfast before going off to breakfast club :rotfl: It is exactly the sort of thing my kids would do as well xx

We had a BLT for breakfast/lunch and I have a goat's cheese salad for dinner tonight. Tomorrow we have lasagne and more salad with garlic bread for those who want it.

Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx

I'm back from my trek round shops. Had to go to Tes co for some stuff for DM and found a really lovely long edge to edge jacket, some sort of faux suede. Won't keep me warm in mid-winter but perfect for autumn. I didn't have anything 'decent' for going out, not that I go out much! Anyway it was only £29.00.

Well done to dumpling and redruby, it takes such determination.
  • Congratulations on the birth of Sophie, such a lovely name. Enjoy the snuggles........

  • Camelot, I'm so pleased to hear thet Sophie has arrived at last - what a lovely name. Hope your DD is doing well as well.

Gers, Tesco has some nice things, good home stuff as well.

Glad you're ok AOD, and that your hands are improving. It's good stuff, evening primrose. DH and I take it every day,. He used to get what are called here "keens" on his hands quite badly, but the evening primrose stops that. It's those little splits in your skin that won't heal - I think they call them "hacks" in Scotland, Gers will know.

Redruby congrats on your weight loss , you've done really well
