Returning clothing after 28days - Next

I bought quite a lot of outfits from next directory online to try for my brothers wedding. I have fibro and had a bad time of it before the wedding and also started the 6wks summer holidays and popped the bags away while family stayed with the intention of returning them well 2months later and I've found them ans totally forgot to return them!! I'm so annoyed with myself but I often forget things, but wondering has anyone returned items after the 28days to next and what has happened. what are my rights to return, and if they refuse them would they just return them to me, or would they just give me credit. it was all. done on my next account anyway so note sure where I would stand. there is quite a lot so I'd rather not take it to our local store to ask. any input would be great.
thanks
thanks

The Next website does state that returns are only permitted up to 28 days from when you receive the goods but a polite e-mail explaining the situation and asking if they would make an exception in your case might have the desired effect.
In the end, it will probably come down to the luck of the draw and how much leeway the customer service agent dealing with your e-mail has.
I wouldn't take the risk and return them without Next agreeing beforehand as if the clothing did get lost or they refused to accept the return, you might then have to pay the cost in getting them sent back to you.0 -

I agree, sending something back without getting Next's agreement is a very bad idea , they may require postage costs to return it back to OP if they don't accept it.it might even get lost.
OP as per your original question you no longer have any rights to a return.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
