Heathrow - Free Buses - T3 - Bath Road

Hey all,

I got my car booked in at the Marriot on Bath Road - Heathrow for when i go away.....
I read that you can travel from the hotel (on main road bus stop) to T3 for free in the airport zone....

(talking like 7am on a Sat morning) - Bus 105

I now read that the driver can refuse to let you on the bus if you are carrying luggage....
Any of you guys used the buses in the airport zone , and taken luggage onboard with you ?
Cant imagine the bus will be busy at 7am mind......

We stayed at the Premier inn bath road and ordered an Uber to the airport (T2 if I remember correctly). It cost less than £10 for two of us with luggage and was door to door, much easier than the bus which I think would have been £5 each. I'm not sure about the free bus though although I think they are fairly regular so if one is full you could always wait 10 minutes for the next one I suppose?

We have used a 'park on my drive' place which was about 50 yards from the bus stop. The chap who owned the driveway told us about these free buses when we booked, so we used them to and from the terminal. They were excellent, no problems at all taking luggage. In fact, the buses had luggage rack facilities. They are apparently mainly for airport workers, but anyone could use them.

We've used the free buses at Heathrow on numerous occasions. Never had an issue with luggage.

I’ve used the free bus from the PI at the other end of Bath Road to T5 a few times. Never had a problem with taking luggage.

All the buses within the area on the map are free - no problem with luggage.

Never had a problem. I find the bus stops more convenient than the Hoppa.

I've used the "free" bus many times and never had a problem with luggage. If the bus is full then the driver will refuse to let anyone on regardless of luggage and you will have to wait for the next one, but there is a service every few minutes.

    cheers guys , good info ! :)
Yeah, am using the park on drive app and got the marriot carpark for a great price, but mainly so we can use the london red buses for free as in the zone.... (would'nt use the hoppa as that would add £30 for the 3 of us and defeat using the parking app)......
    Cheers all :)

Depends when shift change is :D

We caught one from the Premier Inn at about 05:30 IIRC and it was packed:eek:

We managed Ok with luggage but the bus went past others at the next few stops.

Never had an issue with luggage on those buses.
