Provider for Temporary car insurance in non eu countries?

I am driving across Europe on holiday and my insurance company will not insure me for Macedonia and Albania, as they are outside the eu. I know you can buy the insurance at the border, but does anyone know if there is a UK company who will provide 10 days insurance for these non eu countries in advance?

I'd be wary of insurance bought at borders. In my (limited) experience, it is likely to be basic legal minimum third party cover only.

You would probably find that it is not a case of insurance can be bought at the border but that it must be bought at the border before you are allowed through.
