Wyelands Savings % rate

I've just opened a Wylands 1 year fixed rate savings and I'm sure when I clicked open the rate was 1.88% but it now appears that rate is not available dropping to 1.65%


I've had my welcome email and have 14 days to make a deposit. It doesnt mention the interest rate :eek:
How can I find this out, or do I need to wait for my internet banking codes to arrive in the post

If when you applied for it, it was 1.88%, then I would say they will honour the higher rate as long as you make the deposit within 14 days - this is my experience when opening and paying into fixed rate savings bonds.

Instead of waiting for your internet access codes to arrive, on your welcome email you should have your account opening reference number - you can use this opening reference number to check with Wyelands Bank what rate you will get.
