Ive tried lloyds TSB who I bank with they don't do such an account. Any advice please who to try?

How about something like Virgin double take with only 2 withdrawals a year or a notice account like 95 day one from Charter Savings
  • Hi there, yes both of those sound good, exactly the types I am searching for. Thank you!
  • Stop looking for such an account. Start educating yourself and change your behaviour.

Are you sure? Once you've made one withdrawal from Virgin you'll need to close the account when you make a second withdrawal, otherwise you won't be able to get at your cash should you need to get access to further funds later in the year. In other words you'll end up with more money than you wanted. With your apparent lack of willpower you might find it hard to resist spending it?

However, if you can muster up some willpower then, depending on sums involved, Lloyds have a couple of monthly savers (only one if you don't have a 'Club' current account) taking a total of £650/month and both paying more interest than Virgin.
