Time Limit on complaint / request to landowner
Hi
I'm at the Letter Before Claim stage following UKCPM PCN at start of September 2018 in smallish family run hotel.
the Hotel are claiming that as its after a year - they can't do anything to help cancel my PCN
I contacted them to ask them to help cancel the PCN (I had originally appealed the PCN with UKCPM with evidence that I had the permit in the car but not clearly on display but was registered VRN with hotel) but this was dismissed. I thought it would go away but now have LBC so wish to prepare for any action / get it cancelled.
could an email from the Hotel owner suffice that I pass on?
first they need convincing.. so any Civil Law reference may assist
apologies to ask or if I have missed it.. but I have searched about limitation of time for land owner to cancel PCN including he newbies thread

What has this to do with "Civil Law"?
The landowner can get this cancelled any time before it goes to court, there is no "time limit" but they probably chose not to, or have been taken in by the scamming PPC.
If it's a small family run hotel they may even be getting a £10 throw back for each PCN paid.
Tell them as you were a guest and had both a permit and were on the hotel whitelist you will be calling on them as a witness at the small claims court.
All the info you need is in the newbies thread on page one.0
