Ref: GMAC Mortgage/ PPI Claim

Options
I made a claim through Resolver regarding a GMAC second mortgage that I had in the past. The details came up that GMAC was now a company called Paratus. I sent a reminder email and received a response from a company called Foundation Loans. This company was fobbing me off with a final response stating that they did not have any record of PPI being sold.

I wonder if anyone out there has had success with claiming PPI with a GMAC mortgage.

That's not off-fobbery. That's either data protection or the fact you didn't have PPI with them.

You can send them your own evidence of the PPI if you still feel you have a valid complaint.

GMAC mortgages were frequently arranged via third parties and not directly with GMAC. Where that was the case, it was the third party that sold any insurances. Not the lender.
