Excess insurance policy for Temporary Car Insurance?

We use e.g. Veygo for temporary car insurance if we ever borrow a car from a family member or when our children (aged 20 and 18) borrow our car, as putting them permanently on the ordinary car insurance would be prohibitively expensive. Does anybody know please whether it is possible to buy a policy to cover the excesses on this type of policy? I know some companies now offer excess insurance for holiday car hire but I cannot find any reference to excess policies for temporary car insurance. Thanks in advance.

We use veygo to for our daughter. I can't answer your question about excess insurance but I know the standard excess is £750 but you can pay a little extra to reduce it to £250.
Make sure you take photos of the car everytime you start a new policy other wise there is an extra £250 excess to pay if you can't supply photos.

Many thanks James. That's helpful as I didn't know you could pay extra to reduce the excess on Veygo.
I'd still be interested though, if anybody else knows of an annual policy for reducing the excesses on temporary car insurance.
