Seller not honouring a gift voucher

Hello, I wondered if anyone had encountered a similar situation?
I purchased a wine tasting for 1 voucher. When I tried to book the slot I was told I would have to pay more as it is now £5 more than when I bought the voucher. Yet the voucher is simply for one wine tasting not a specific amount.
Surely the voucher has to be honoured or refunded.
Any advice appreciated.

Any terms at all about voucher redemption timescales etc?
Did you buy it an unreasonably long time ago?0 -
Good question. The voucher says it must be used within 6 months. It is currently in the 5th month.KatrinaWaves wrote: »Any terms at all about voucher redemption timescales etc?

No terms and conditions outlined to suggest anything about a change in price.

The seller is being completely unreasonable.
If the voucher is for 1 wine tasting, not a specific monetary amount of credit, then it should be honoured. If they're not willing to provide the tasting then they should refund the voucher.0 -
If the expiry is 6 months and you’re within this then theyre being very unreasonable. That’s no time at all0
