GB energy overcharged
Hi. So i have moved in the property december 2018. I was so busy and totally forgot to make a note of my meter readings. Few months gone past and i remembered so i set the account with gb energy. After that i received my first bill which was £167, from dec to march. It is worth saying it is 2 bedroom house and only 2 full time working adults live there. So time goes past and i receive my second bill which was £806 for 3 months. I started desputing that and all i hear from them is "its your responsibility to add meter readings when you moved in so nothing we can do". I know for a fact that previous tenant didn't pay a penny to them. So i thought i will wait for my third bill. So my third bill comes and it is £144 for 2 months . Which is great. I just do not know what to do now as i will not pay them £806 for 3 month. I know its my fault that i didn't send meter readings but this is ridiculous.:eek::eek:
