Ok my pc has a ssd drive and a hard drive. I found it was saving everything to the smaller ssd drive. I corrected the settings so that photos, videos etc now save onto the hard drive. However the folder I created where i put all my old stuff from my old pc seems to be still in the ssd drive. So how do I move the folder to the hard drive? Its 25gb and i dont want it to be taking up that much room on the ssd.

Maybe you need to be a little more specific ? but is this what your after ? Here ?
Thanks i will try that.
To be specific i created a folder with the purpose of storing everything i wanted to keep from the old system, photos, music etc all in one easy to find place. I found it was being stored on the ssd by default. In the storage section in settings it allowed me to choose where new videos, photos etc are stored and i set them all to hard drive except apps which i believe are best on the ssd. The folder i had created was still on the ssd though. My question aim was how to move the created folder to the hard drive. I believe the link you gave should work. I will try tomorrow and no doubt will be back here if it does not provide the solution.0 -
Open the old place in "file explorer" and open a separate window with the new place and then just drag the items over. It may copy rather than move, so if you drag with the right mouse button you'll get the pop up of options to move rather than copy.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0

I found when I got to the location bit it wasn't there. however when you click home I found that there was a move option there and did it that way. it did create another issue because the desktop icon for quick access disappeared off screen. I managed to sort that out though and created a desktop shortcut.0 -
For me that only allows move a folder within 'c' drive or 'd' drive.
It doesn't allow movement between drives.
for me after selecting the folder and hitting home at the top I just selected move from the options that appeared at the top then just selected the drive I wanted it to move to.0
