Will this cause a 'Late Postage' problem

I have sold an item on Ebay, the buyer has paid but has asked me not to post until she returns from holiday on the 25th of this month.
Will this cause a problem with my stats? Would |I be better marking it as dispatched now and then posting it later? I usually use Ebay to buy my postage and get the tracking number but obviously I\ cant use this method as you have to post within 24 hours of printing the label.
What the best way round this please?

There is no way round this and I have faced the same dilemma. It's not just the 'late' defect you face, you are also giving up PayPal seller protection as one requirement for that is that it is posted within 7 days of payment.
If you don't upload a tracking number when you send it, you can't then use that tracking to defend an INR.
The one I had last month I actually explained all this to my buyer and suggested they cancel and re buy on their return.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Soolin. Its only a small value so I think I will mark it as dispatched and hope the buyer doesn't claim 'item not received'.0

I had this last week, i marked it as dispatched but didnt actually dispatch until day 7. I then uploaded the tracking. It left me with a late ding on my account but went onto ebay live chat, explained they could read my messages from the customer that it was at their request and they happily removed the dingYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0
