Five year old PCN - BW Legal & Premier Parking

  • I don’t have any faith in the MP angle
  • County court letter from BW, immediately sent off a SAR to Premier Park. They have sent a delaying response asking for proof of identity. They have my name and address. Is this legitimate? Advice welcome

Am in a similar situation as you (5 yr old PCN, county court claim now), and also being denied SAR from Premier Park. Did they end up honoring your request? How much ID did you provide? They have asked us for ''scanned copy of two of the following:
    • Driving License
    • Passport
    • Council Tax or Utility Bill (not more than 3 months old) showing your name and address
    • Any other official document which confirms your identity (please ensure any financial information is redacted if providing evidence from a bank or credit card statement)''
    Plus
    • ''The ownership details from the V5 Logbook
    • Written authorisation from the Registered Keeper named on the V5 Logbook where this is not listed as yourself''
We said their request was intrusive and excessive, but they are holding firm.

The ICO has said a copy of the claim form and V5c showing the same name and address is sufficient. If they don't accept that report them to the ICO.
  • Premier Parking yet yo respond to SAR. I have submitted driving license. They haven’t asked for anything ‘plus’
  • Still no response from Premier Parking following SAR.

Just received ‘Notice of proposed allocation to small claims track’ from county court in Northampton. Asking if we think it’s appropriate. Any thoughts and/or advice? Court appears to be offering a mediation service. I am minded to use this. Would this be wise?
Next deadline appears to be 4/11 for me to complete court questionnaire N180

As I say thoughts and/advice appreciated

All you need to know on that in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2. That sticky must become your Bible in dealing with this. Available to reference 24/7.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
