bought a laptop and already have a desktop iwant to use the laptop wireless dont think i will be able to do this myself I am on virgin broadband.could someone give me arough idea please has to how much this would cost.or is it easy enough to do it yourself

If it's a recent laptop (< 3 years old), it should already have wireless capability built in, otherwise you'll need a wireless adapter/card for it. Post the make and model if you're not sure.
If your Virgin broadband is via cable, you need a wireless cable/DSL router and your modem must have an Ethernet port for connecting the router. If it's via phone line, you need a wireless modem router, which replaces your existing modem.
A good router would cost around £40 and it's very easy to set this up yourself.0
