Amex card referral bonus question.

Hello, I have had a British Airways Amex card for a few months. I got it in order to collect Avios points. My wife has a supplementary card on my account.
Amex are offering a bonus of Avios points for anyone that I refer who is accepted for their own card.
If I refer my wife, is she likely to be considered or will she automatically be rejected as she already holds a supplementary card on my account?
She is almost certainly likely to pass any credit checks.
