Barclaycard existing customers video mp3 offer

Has anyone recieved the offer from barclaycard about getting a free video mp3 player for trying their mystuff insurance, similar to the £50 petrol offer in the past? Is it worth doing, they give you an option to cancel within the free 30 day trial period.

Yep, I got one too and sent off for it. Free 30 day trial and you get to keep the mp3/video player after cancelling.

You even get a freephone number to call to cancel too so no costs at all!

Got it today but I didn't think that a 1.66 inch (42 mm) screen would make for enjoyable viewing. They aren't expensive. Something like this one was specified I think

Always useful to have an mp3 / mp4 player you can throw around and treat with a bit less care though than say an Ipod

I sent off the initial form for this about 10th December and have had absolutely nothing back. Anybody had any success with getting the welcome pack, let alone the player?

I sent off for this promotion before xmas and still have not heard a thing.

No MP4 player and No welcome pack??

Anyone got any ideas what the delay is?

Yes there was delay...i called up as I was worried that these guys will start charging without even sending welcome pack!

Ultimately got welcome pack in Jan first week or so...and sent it across...

Now again it has gone silent...Just made a call today to get policy cancelled as free trail was coming to end...person assured that mp4 player should come by month end...

Just been on the phone to them after I noticed they'd started charging me, even when I've not received the welcome pack. :mad:

They say they'll send another pack to me, refund the charge and extend the trial for another month...
