PPI New offer received

Hi There, can anyone help? I claimed PPI in 2016 and was paid out (albeit a small amount) in February 2017, I used Chandler Simmons, I paid there invoice and that was the end of it. However i have since received a letter & Cheque from Barclaycard out of the blue with a substantial cheque attached. i have received no correspondence from the Claims company until now and they have sent me a new contract to sign... do you think the original contract in 2016 has expired? do they expire? and they are asking me to resign even though i never asked them to do anything more for me, any help would be appreciated.
do i resign? even though they didn't actually do any work, it was Barclaycard who contacted me?
if i paid their fee in 2017 is any further amount due?

not sure what to do for the best

    No thinking necessary. It did.
    do they expire?
yes. They close at the end of the original complaint outcome.

They are doign this because if you sign it they can charge you against the newly received amount. If you dont sign it, they have no right to charge you.
    do i resign?

    No. That would be daft.
    is any further amount due?
    no

  • Everyday since i received the Recalculated redress i have been bombarded with phone calls and text messages asking me to call Chandler Simmons. I'm now home from holiday and i have received an Invoice for 24% of the redress. Can they do this given my original claim and LOA forms were from 2016? and i though all was settled, should i take some advice or just pay it? can they claim this on a recalculated figure?

not sure where i stand as i had already paid them previously and case was closed. any advice would be great!! thanks...

Have you read and understood the other response to your thread?

The link provided therein already provides you with all the ammunition you'll need to refuse the additional fees...
