Problems with Barclays online banking

Is anyone else having problems accessing/using Barclays online banking? For the desktop site (bank.barclays.co.uk) I often cannot get past the initial page (after login), I just get a blank page. For the mobile site (….mobi – won't let me post links) I can log in and see some pages ok, but when I attempt to "move money" or "pay" I just gt the top and bottom navigation elements, and the rest of the page is blank.
The furthest I get is "pay" on the desktop site, but it fails (blank page) when I'm trying to add a new payee.
I have tried this with Safari/Firefox/Chrome/TenFourFox on several different Macs, with different versions of MacOS X, and with Firefox on an Android phone, all with more or less the same results. If you work that out, with the two different sites, its something like 30 different browser/OS combinations, so it seems unlikely that it is just me!?
I used the Barclays online complaint form, upon which it says that they will get back to me within two hours – early this morning – but nothing from them so far.
This has been going on for about a week.

The app does work, but I've only just downloaded it and there seems to be some kind of temporary ban on adding new payees.
However, I want to be able to use internet banking on the desktop, not via a mobile phone - it's such a chore (I have to use the pin sentry).
Really wondering if anyone else is having problems though, or whether the bank is particularly tying to sabotage my online experience0 -
I haven't got time right now to check online but the app is working for me - added a new payee and sent a payment. I did need to enter details from my debit card to add the payee.0

yes you will have to wait 4 days for all functions to work including adding new payees.
As a work around, to add a new payee do it by calling them.
in answer to your specific question my online banking works fine no problems. Cant think what would be causing yours.0 -
I suspect they will come back to you asking for chapter and verse on what specific versions of each browser you are using, who is your ISP etc etc. They will probably also ask you to delete your cookies and history. This is what happened to me when certain issues cropped up at log-in after they updated their desk-top package a few years back. To be fair, they did find and fix the issue.
Their latest website upgrade has made things painfully slow for me. I complained (with a small 'c') and they asked for all the same guff again, so I told them I'd just put up with it being slow. At least I can get in though - eventually.0 -
