PIP review form postage query

I received my PIP review form last week, filled it in, & posted it last Monday - 8 days ago today.

It was posted in the supplied 2nd class prepaid envelope to an address in Wolverhampton.

I phoned PIP customer services today to see if it's arrived, however, they've said it hasn't.

I order lots via mail order (about 20 times per Month), and my experience with 2nd class post is that 99% of my orders arrive within 2>3 days.

Should I be getting worried, as the deadline for the returned form is the 16th of September which is imminent?

Anyone have any experience with regards the timescales for logging return PIP review forms, please?

All mail going to DWP has to go through a mail sorting process at Royal mail. It's only been 6 working days since you returned the form and it can take more than a week to be added to the computer. Give it to the end of the week and ring again.

I'll phone again at the end of the week as suggested, then update this thread to give the heads up for anyone in a similar scenario who might be worried.
