As per the title, which bulbs will grow through a 2-3" layer of bark chippings? I'm guessing daffs, tulips and aliums will be fine but would snowdrops, crocuses and bluebells struggle?
Also should I plant the bulbs closer to the soil surface than you ordinarily would to account for the depth of the wood chip?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer

Most of them if they are healthy, it's the right time & the chippings aren't so thick Nothing can get through!
