Can DRP Fine turn into CCJ?

Firstly, please don't kill me lol. I've read the NEWBIES thread (and re-read post #4 around 5x), and also searched heavily around the forums, but I did not get my answer anywhere.
A few days ago I received a fine (of £170) from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus). The creditor is MET Parking Services. I can pay this fine but I do not want to be ripped off. However, I'm currently saving up for a mortgage (both monetarily and with my credit score), so I'm trying to avoid anything that could serious jeopardise my credit score & I am scared if I ignore this notice it may become a CCJ (in the near future).
DRP provide little"proof" in regards to the violation just a date and reason (<4 months ago, No disabled badge whilst parked at a McDonalds - but I don't recall parking in a disabled bay... I was never ticketed 'on the spot' either), they never sent "details" they originally claim to have (no surprise to you veterans), and I struggle to see how this "violation" would yield such a high amount in fines.
I was going to call them to dispute, but after reading some threads here, it seems the best approach is just to flat out ignore (?). I have the funds to pay (although to my inconvenience) but would rather not throw cash in the bin. If I ignore this will it/can it become a CCJ by the end of the year? Should I just pay it or play it out?
TL;DR:
Buying a house soon so don't want to tarnish my credit score, if I ignore their notice will I get a CCJ against me (by end of year)? I don't mind fighting the CCJ after I get a house, just no time prior.
A pre-emptive thanks for any help

1: its not a fine
2: DRP cannot start court action ,
3:the advice to ignore a PARKING co , is frowned on
4: dept collectors working for parking co,s can be ignored
please read the newbies thread to understand above0 -
It can become a ccj if you lose in court and then fail to pay within 28 days. Other than that there is no record of it.0

Do not contact debt collectors - they are powerless.
You will only get a CCJ if you ignore court papers or lose in court and fail to pay in accordance with a judge’s order.
At present MET don’t seem keen to do court but this may change over the next 6 years.
In the meantime a politely worded complaint to McDonald’s CEO Mr Paul Pomroy stating how disappointed you are that your meals have attracted a £100 surcharge and how a cancellation would be appreciated.

Ignore MET and DRP. MET never try small claims and can't affect your mortgage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
