Any ideas how to tighten this handle?
It's threaded but I can't see how to tighten it up
Don't mind bodging it up

Will the silver end cap on vertical bit of handle come off? Maybe you'd be able to see a bolt head in there?
The small holes are probably there for a reason but I can't see what's going on.
I doubt it's tightened from the inside of the door as there'd be insulation in the way.0 -
As above, will the end caps come off? Can you see what's in the small hole, is there a screw head or an allen key hole? If neither try pushing something into the hole & see if something releases.
Have you searched online for a manual?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
Looks like the pointy end of a metal screw through the hole? Bad news if it is.
Edit: scratch that. Having enhanced the pic, it doesn't look like a screw thread but does look metallic0 -
Model would be useful
There will be a manual out there somewhere
Most likely you need to dismantle the handle first.0 -
Looks like a blanking plug in the hole, would be tempted to use a screwdriver and see if it comes out and what is behind it,as stated cannot see it being fitted from the inside of the door.0

It looks like there's a grub screw underneath. If you move the handle towards the door does the threaded bolt move or remain stationary?0

No it's some sort of clip and I have tried putting a screwdriver in hoping it might open the clips so I could push the handle back but no go go and the handle won't budgies so it won't go in or out but it's slowly working it's way outNorman_Castle wrote: »It looks like there's a grub screw underneath.
