Appeal using the template in blue text from post 1 of the NEWBIES. Add a one liner, without revealing the driver's identity, that the NTK arrived too late for keeper liability to apply so they should cancel now in order to save themselves money.
This assumes there was no NTD. If there was, then they are within the PoFA timescales so you should send the template unedited.

What happened when you complained to the landowner?

Have you based your forum username on your real name?

If so, you are best advised to get it changed to something much more anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:

Q. How can I change my username?

A. In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.

Thank you for the above. I have now emailed with a request to get this changed.

Thank you. I am looking for this template but am unable to find it. Please could you provide a link or where I can be looking exactly for this template?

I also haven't complained to the landownder, I'd be unsure who the landowner is or where to find out who it is.

The template is in the NEWBIES thread that is just underneath where you clicked on the button, and asks you to read the thread before posting.
