What an awful sequence of events to happen. Especially as with such a high bill it's just the sort of situation Pet insurance is ideal for.
I'm not convinced of its value otherwise. Our late cat had one, most Vet visits were not covered as the amount was under the excess (started at £75 ended at £95). Then even when it goes over the excess you get hit by the 25% deduction! So, for example £495 dental bill - only get £300 back (495 - 95 = 400 less 25% = 400 - 100 = 300).I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
